Today we learned about the importance of water. Water is a necessity for life and we've used the same water since the beginning of time, but water is very easily polluted since pollutants can be picked up by rain and carried into the rivers. Water should be protected, it's very important to not litter and make sure nothing toxic goes down storm drains.

Many people came in to talk about water and we got lots of cool stuff like backpacks, reusable water bottles, and bracelets


This is the hill, steep and narrow

This is the farm, green and fresh

This is the road, dirty and cold

This is the gutter, dirty and shallow

These are the fish, agile and golden

This is the algae, green and spongey

This is the river, wet and wild
